But this has not been the only time that the digital version of a holy book replaces the original paper. Last February, a New Jersey firefighters were sworn in an edition of the Bible from an iPad because no one had found a printed version of this. The previous month, an official of Long Island was sworn in the same way, on a large number of pixels.
