Voyage Kindle, an eReader “Retina Display” – Geek Pro

kindle voyage

Amazon got a great place in the market, evolving both eBooks and eReaders with its platform Online book and Kindle respectively. Every year we see small incremental improvements over devices, and each time we see a major paradigm shift, which meant the Paperwhite a backlit eReader without losing its e-ink screen.

This year it seems that we will see a significant jump, and you will touch your screen. Electronic ink has many advantages over traditional screens, but so far its evolution points had fallen far behind its competition, but it seems that the company aims to improve this aspect Seattle with its next-generation devices.

Your name could be Kindle Voyage, and could be the big change for the company. According to German sources, it appears that this new device would turn the page by tapping the side edges, evolving the current system from the classics. The source also says that there will remain a WiFi and 3G another version, and as for the screen, the big step will increase to 300 dots per inch, resulting in a much sharper text.

The screen seems to continue in the 6 inches diagonally, though I think that with the evolution of phablets for Amazon would be interesting to increase the useful screen size while maintaining those same overall dimensions.

Hopefully advantage of the change at least succeed in making the device thinner and lighter, and in this respect, sound figures of 186 grams and 8mm thick.

The date release or presentation could be the Nov. 4
