Amazon announces the five latino finalists of its contest for books in 2016 – CNET in Spanish

Three of the five finalists at the third edition of the contest of authors indie include the Spanish Lorena Franco (The Traveler of the Time); Rosario Vila (upside down); and Anna Ballabriga & David Zaplana (No Scotsman True).

If you’re looking for books in English, Amazon continues to increase the availability of titles in the language of Cervantes and a way as the giant of e-commerce makes it is encouraging to authors speaking to autopublicar their books on its platform of digital books Kindle.

To encourage more publications, Amazon launched several years ago, a literary competition of authors indie in Spanish, and this Monday announced the finalists of the third edition of the contest.

The finalists include the author’s mexican Susana Mohel, who wrote Language of my Skin; argentina Susana Golden, author of moonstruck; and the Spanish authors Ana Ballabriga, David Zaplana, authors of No Scotsman True; Rosario Vila is the author of upside down and Lorena Franco writer of The Traveler of Time.

According to Amazon, more than 1,490 titles were autopublicados for Kindle for the contest and the five countries that submitted books were Spain, Mexico, Venezuela, Argentina and the U.S.

Already that has been given to know the finalists, a jury chosen by Amazon will evaluate the books for their originality, creativity, literary quality, and for the amount of sales and loans already obtained by the platform Amazon Kindle. The winning title will be announced at the end of October.

the winner of The contest will see their title published in paper format by Amazon, and in audio by Audible. The book will also be translated into English. Finally, as an added bonus you will earn US$ 5,000.
