Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is now available for Android and Kindle - Reuters

MADRID, Jan. 8 (Portaltic / EP) –

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is now available for Android and Amazon Kindle. The game features remastered high resolution graphics, rich color palette and lighting improvements and modeled characters.

The game, originally released for PlayStation 2 in 2004, allows players to roam an open world spanning the state of San Andreas and its three largest cities, Los Santos, San Fierro and Las Venturas, based in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Las Vegas, respectively.

The title has as its protagonist Carl Johnson returns to Los Santos, a city consumed by drugs and corruption, after five years away. His mother has been murdered and her world is shattered. Upon returning, a couple of corrupt cops frame him for homicide and will cross all of San Andreas to save his family and to take control of the streets.

GTA: San Andreas for Android and Amazon Kindle includes over 70 hours of gameplay. A version for Android in December 2013 was expected but it has finally arrived in January.

This version features improvements to the image, as remastered in high resolution graphics, new characters modeled and rich palette of color, as well as changes in the gameplay, com automatically jump over low walls and objects, targeted options and controls with dual analog stick to control the camera.

also includes three different touch control schemes and customizable controls and support for physical controls compatible devices. Also saves in the cloud means for Rockstar Social Club.

The game is available for 5.99 euros on Google Play Store for 6.99 euros and Amazon AppStore. Coming soon to Windows Phone will.
