Amazon Kindle launches contest for writers in Spanish | Peru Trade – Trade

Amazon Kindle today announced the opening of the registration period of a literary contest for independent authors who write in Spanish.

The company , based in Seattle, in the state of Washington, it said in a statement that the authors can register their unpublished through the platform of the company, which is dedicated to publishing works in digital format works.

the winning work will be published in print and audio, and also will be translated into English for distribution internationally, the company said.

This is the third edition of the contest, which involved 1,200 authors from 37 countries last year.

the winner of 2015 was Myriam Millan, a housekeeper Spanish house that published his first work by this contest and stood at the top of the list of books more sold in Spain and Mexico.

the author and motivational speaker Ismael Cala will be the second consecutive year the ambassador of the event in Latin America and the United States.

According Amazon Kindle , the books will be analyzed according to criteria such as creativity, originality, commercial viability and quality of writing to choose the winner.
