Kindle Convert is a $ 50 application that makes printed books into eBooks Kindle. It should work with most scanners, provided that handle 300 dpis, depth grayscale 8-bit color depth of 24 bits.
The software includes automatic alignment and editing capabilities text but also retains the original font and format of the book, along with any handwritten note autographs and pictures. Once the pages are scanned, the application saves a document formatted for Kindle and adds it to the library in the cloud user. Amazon handles it like any other Kindle book, with synchronization of pages, notes, bookmarks and a dictionary.
