Differentiate Paperwhite

Two weeks ago I went to the Clarín Awards 2013 and I found a writer who wanted advice on what eBook Reader buy . Yesterday I went to meet with the writer. He pulled out his Kindle Paperwhite proud and lit it. I looked at the device side, the other and said:

– I skewered.
– Do not tell me Paperwhite Kindle?
– said the new Kindle Paperwhite .
– It’s new.
– But it is not “new”.

My friend complained to the seller but MercadoLibre MercadoLibre the seller did not know if it was the new version or the old version , then complained to the importer (for importer importer I mean model 2013: a kid who brings several Kindle in your bag every time you travel to the United States) and the importer not know if it was the new model or the old model , then the importer complained at Best Buy but at Best Buy also did not know if it was the new model or the old model.

It

Amazon launched earlier this month a new version of Kindle Paperwhite with several improvements – new display technology, faster processor, software utilities – but in the rush forgot sufficiently differentiate this model from the previous . The box says “New Paperwhite” or “Second Generation” or “Paperwhite 2″

1. The new Kindle Paperwhite has a blue boxes in the box that indicates WiFi, daylight readable, Built In Light (all existing features in the Old Paperwhite by the way)

New Kindle Paperwhite Box

2. The new Kindle Paperwhite says on the back “Kindle” (as the old model said “Amazon”)

Old New Kindle

Hope this helps. If you already have the old Paperwhite, do not recommend buying the new but if they’re buying an eBook Reader again be the New Paperwhite. It sells for U.S. $ 119 in Amazon.
