Amazon has the Kindle Fire HDX - Voice of America

Amazon has launched its new version of electronic tablet, the Kindle Fire HDX, and has lowered the prices of the previous models in an effort to compete with Apple iPads, dominant market.

The new tablet, in versions 7 and 8.9 inches, is faster, better displays images and is lighter. The smallest cost $ 229 in the U.S., and the largest, $ 379.

The previous version has been lowered to $ $ 139.

Most innovation is a fixture called “Mayday” or assistance, which helps consumers to communicate online with a service representative, which may explain its operation, and troubleshooting guide to remotely intervene in controls.

The philosophy behind Mayday is that no one should be afraid of the tablet.

The tablet market is divided between Apple, which has a 48%, 17% and Kindle with the Galaxy, with 8%.
