Amazon introduced the new version of its electronic book reader, the Kindle Paperwhite.
The new device incorporates a white light that allows use even at night and is 25% faster. It also has a higher contrast than its predecessor and uses the same technology light guide, which was improved to reduce eyestrain. The backlighting was developed differently than tablets like the iPad, as the backlight is generated by LED light beams projected on the surface giving it a sufficient contrast to read in the dark without the light disturb a person who may be next.
The new Kindle has a six-inch touch screen. and incorporates the novelty called Page Flip, a function that allows you to see the books from start to finish without losing the bookmark.
Readers can also connect to each other as a community to share and recommend books.
