New Kindle Fire HD leaked images displayed on - Engadget

Although the alleged features of the new Kindle Fire HD have been known for some time, until now not been able to see how it will look the Amazon tablet. However, this has changed thanks to images published by BGR where you can see the design of the next version of Kindle Fire HD, that breaks the lines had followed the range so far .

New Kindle Fire HD

commitment redesign much more pronounced edges and angular, rather than rounded appearance that has the current generation. Although the filtered images are of the 7-inch tablet, redesign affect the range , regardless of size and both models lose some weight and gain in ergonomics to change.

can also see that the power buttons and volume control have been modified and now occupy the rear-side of the device (ie, on the side edge, but oriented towards the rear). This provision seems a priori more comfortable to get the landscape mode terminal , but it may be annoying in portrait mode. The same applies to the chamber, which is at the center of one of the longer sides.

speakers have changed site and have moved from the back to the top and removed the band that appeared on the back of Kindle Fire HD. Now the only ornament will Amazon logo . At the front of the frame is still there, although it seems better integrated with the screen.

As for the specifications of the new Kindle Fire HD, will not be confirmed until its official launch, but it looks like some amazing features: 7-inch screen with resolution of 1920 x 1200, Snapdragon quad-core processor 800 more than 2 GHz, 2GB of RAM and 16, 32 or 64 GB of storage. The 8.9-inch model will be identical, except for the screen (2560 x 1600) and the camera, which is 8 megapixels. Both will use Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2, but hopefully it is a heavily modified version.

For now there are no details on price or release date, but it’s likely that Amazon give news soon, as these leaks show a highly finished device. Moreover, his great rival, Nexus 7 , has also undergone a change for the better, so the company should not give too much advantage.
